Brooks Lake, Georgia’s Premier Special Event Facility, located just 25 miles east of Atlanta, is nestled in a cool meadow off of I-20 in Conyers, GA. Brooks Lake reminds the passerby of a simpler, quieter time in the Old South. A richly appointed 110 acres of rolling hills, shaded bluffs, grassy plains, and 50 acres of spring fed lake promises a laid back solution to anyone who seeks relaxing, enjoyable surroundings. Complimenting Brooks Lake’s abundant green space, are its wonderful amenities.

Brooks Lake is state stocked with largemouth bass, crappie, bream and channel catfish. Serious fishers will be interested to know that there are some real lunkers in the lake. In the 1980 issue of Georgia Sportsman Magazine it lists a 13lb. 9oz bass caught at Brooks Lake. 1990 produced another 13lb. bass and 3 1/4 lb. crappie. It seems every year there are several bass caught that are 10lbs. or larger. Bring your fishing gear - we even provide the fishing license. Some of the corporations that have held their company picnics at Brooks Lake are Adams Outdoors, Jet Corr, Air products, Rock Tenn, Longhorn Steakhouse, NCR, General Mills, Georgia Pacific, Procter & Gamble, 3M and Baxter Healthcare just to name a few.

We are very gratified when we hear comments from companies that "Brooks Lake was absolutely perfect for their company picnic!", or comments from employees like "The best picnic they have ever had!" Some companies have rated Brooks Lake above Stone Mountain Park and Lake Lanier because it is private and people can participate in various activities while still being part of the group. We can cater your picnic with the basic hamburgers and hotdog's right off the grills with side salads, baked beans, BBQ chicken or pork or get real fancy with a theme menu such as a luau! We have no problem with alcoholic beverages served under controlled conditions.
